May 2014 Favorites!

edit 21/06/2014 : Blogger did something weird and didn't schedule the post - nor did it post my pictures. So the entry is abit incomplete >_<; will fix this ASAP. SORRY! ;A;

Howdy everyone! Hope you're all doing well!

First time doing a favorites type of blogpost but since May is coming to and end - thought I'd share some of the things that I've been REAALYYY liking this month.

Skincare & Makeup
-Holika Holika One Solution - CLEAR

I've been using this for over a week now and the results are really amazing. The area's that I break out is soothed and not as red and also can see the dead skin peeling and the new skin forming under. It dries up my pimples whilst keeping my skin moisturised.

I love the fact that it has a dropper in the glass bottle which is hygenic and doesn't require me to dip my fingers to contaminate the concentrated serum. It has a herby scent like white tea which I absolutely love.
I use two-three drops to apply on my skin every night and it is more than enough for both my face and neck. Quickly absorbs into my skin and isn't heavy or oily. It doesn't leave a sticky feeling for me but I've read other reviews it did for them so just something to take note of.

-Etude House Moistfull SUPER Collagen multi stick/balm

Used this for a month and I LOVEEEE this amazing balm. Containing 58% collagen, it literally restores the elasticity of my skin making it more bouncy and firm and does not leave a sticky feeling whatsoever. Especially use this around my eye area and areas that need extra moisture. HOWEVER does not completely moisture like a moisturiser, it's more like a spot moisture stick :D It's multifunctional which is perfect to take along when going out as I can use it around my eye area, as a skin moisturiser (spot moisturiser) and also a lip balm. I also love the smell; it just smells sooo nicee like chamomile-white tea and it lingers throughout which is nice (though probably not for those who don't like the scent >_<;).

-Maybelline Baby Lips SPF20 Lip balm - Smoothing cherry

Been using this for around 2-3 weeks now and I was REALLY surprised with the results. I wouldn't think a cosmetic brand like Maybelline would be able to deliver something so healing (I doubted them, oops ;O). Results were amazing; hydrated and moisturised my lips really well making them more supple. ALSO can visibly see less fine lines on my lips. I does have a slight waxy feeling which probably is why it coats the lips for a really long time until the lips are touched through drinking or wiping etc.

They did have a tinted version but I feel the tinted version didn't give much healing properties as the non-tinted. The scent is quite nice, sweet but not overly sweet and doesn't linger so much. Overall I think this is perfect for the upcomming cold whether where my lips tend to get dry. The only downer is that it is abit shiny.

-The Face Shop Oil-Free BB cream

Because the new season is coming in, the weather is always undecided and is a cross between hot and cold within a day so I tend to break out. In most cases I shouldn't be using makeup to let the skin heal BUT this BB cream just does that makeup job of giving some coverage while not irritating my skin. It is oil-free and keeps my skin moisturised whilst also soothing my skin with the Chamomile Extract.

Perfect light coverage to even the skin for the night since it does not contain SPF and is oil-free so keeps the face not shiny. Downside is that it only comes in one shade that is quite light with a grey undertone so sometimes you look abit dead LOL.

-Maybelline FIT me! Shine Free Foundation stick

This is a mixed feeling product HOWEVER I have been using it alot and it's because - I love the finish and the feel of it. It gives a nice natural matte powder finish and makes your skin feel SOOOO soft legit I keep touching my face (which is bad LOL). Also it does control the oils around my T-zone so I'm actually not that shiny (Good job anti-shine gel core *thumbs up*).
I use this on top of my BB cream whenever I need more coverage like my undereye or my blemishes. Sometimes I use this alone when my skin is looking on the better side and just needs evening out. HOWEVER DO NOT DOUBLE IT THOUGH, IT WILL LOOK CAKEY. And actually that's not the only downside.
It sometimes set into your fine lines, not much of pores but just fine lines especially undereye and then you have this very cakey look (yet I still apply it there). I find that if you use a setting spray or mist, the cakey-ness isn't so bad. ALSO I feel that this foundation is VERY transferable because whenever I dab my skin with my fingers- it leaves a finger print mark. So technically I can constantly blend the foundation non stop LOL! . But in saying that - do not reapply to touch up cos you'll just see cake as mentioned before. Dry skin users MAY want to stay away from this foundation because it probably will accentuate your dry skin as it does accentuates dry patches.
Overall I think it's still a great foundation that's affordable with light coverage without requiring powder to set. A little does somewhat go a long way since it's super blendable BUT it still runs out really quick O3O;. My mom and I use this alot and actually my mom really loves this that she uses it everytime she goes out now LOL!

-Byphasse Makeup Remover Wipes

I saw this at ChemistWarehouse and the package really caught my attention because it's as big as a standard tissue which is bigger than the general square makeup wipes and also this contains 40 sheets. I picked up the sensitive skin one to test out (other one was mature skin) and when I used it, the feeling on my skin afterwards just sold me.
It removes my makeup (even waterproof) efficiently whilst hydrating and moisturising my skin unlike most of the wipes which give that dry feeling as if your skin is screaming "I NEED WATERRRRR". Also it doesn't leave any sticky feeling.

The towel or wipe is the size of a regular tissue and is ribbed to cleanse the skin for efficiently. I also love the packaging with the resealable cap unlike the other brands with a resealable tape which comes off eventually due to moisture. The only downside is that DESPITE stating for sensitive skin- oh my goodness it is SOO heavily scented. The scent is nice but it's a scent that belongs in the laundry room if you know what I mean. It's like fabric softener smell in which I hope they didn't add fabric softener content to make my skin feeling nice. O_O;

Snack
-The Natural Confectionary Fruity Chews

Yes I'm gonna add this into my favorites because I'm somehow REAALLLYY addicted to this. And also I really love my sweets and treats ;P. But yeah I've been buying a bag every week for 3 weeks now because one bag last me a week (actually with great restraint they last me a week otherwise I could probably finish this within 2-3 days). One bag has quite alot of these individually wrapped fruity goodness and they come in variety of flavors in a bag like lemon, orange, strawberry, raspberry and blackcurrant.  But yeah they're just soo nice QAQ.

They have a good tang to it, not sour but great burst of juicy sweetness and flavors and has a great chew to them depending on the weather. Hot weather you'll have soft chews while in cold weather you'll get hard chews. What I also enjoy is that it doesn't stick to your teeth like many of the other chews, so there's no need for making glamorous facial expressions while trying to remove the candy from your teeth with your tongue. LOL TL;DR they're yummy and addictive. done :D

Outfits & Looks
-Beaucon Shimmer Grey/Gray contact lenses

These are pretty much my everyday lenses (if I wore lenses everyday). They're super comfortable, gives a nice subtle color whilst maintaining the natural look of your eye because of it's blending design. Gives that subtle kirakira chingching look to your eye, almost alluring or mesmerising especially because it's grey. Actually I have vain moments whenever I wear these because I just look into the mirror alot to check my eyes out ROFL! Which then makes me want to take selfies (Y).

- Black loose cardigan/scarf/poncho .. thing (LOL!)
I don't know what this is but I just love it because it's so versatile and multifunctional. I can use it as a cardigan, a scarf, a poncho, etc; all in many different ways. Especially because it's the end of Autumn, the weather is unpredictable and more cold nowadays so I just bring this almost everywhere to keep myself covered and warmer. I bought this last year at CottonOn in the female's clearance section for $5.00AUD and honestly it's an awesome buy.

-Construction worker style
Lately I've been wearing what I like to call the (stereotypical) construction worker style - that is shorts with bunched up socks and boots. Surely you'll think of construction workers when you pair these bottoms together right? :D
I don't know why but it gives a very autumn feel to it, wearing shorts to suit the bright sunny warm weathers whilst the bunched up socks at or below calve height and boots to match with the cooler temperatures. I usually dress these bottoms with a plaid dress shirt with some form of jacket. Fun casual look with a sense of freedom to roam ^_^)/

That concludes May 2014 favorites! Hope you enjoy this post, please comment below on your thoughts and opinions! *^*)/
Until then, stay well & take care!

[CONTACT LENS REVIEW] ColourVue Crazy lens - Cheshire cat (blue cat lens)

Hello everyone! Hope you're all doing well!

Back for another photo heavy contact lens review.

Today's review will be blue cat contact lens called the Cheshire cat by ColourVue Crazy Lens series.

These lenses retail for $24.99 USD at lensvillage.com

Here are some details about the lens :
  • Diameter (DIA) : 14.0 MM
  • Base Curve (B.C) : 8.6mm
  • Water Content : 45% (I've heard they're 38% but packaging by colorvue states 45%)
  • 3 month expiry
  • Comes in only one prescription of plano 0.00
  • This series comes in Blue. Same/similar cat designs available in other colors with different names - Viper (White), Anaconda (green), Cat eye (yellow), Cheshire Cat (blue), Dragon Eyes (either red green white with yellow),  etc.

COLOR & PATTERN
The color payoff is quite amazing. In natural light and dim area, it stands out quite well but not to the extent that WOAH YOUR EYES IS FREAKY.
Despite the color looking very dense - it isn't as vibrant as I expected. But overall I'm not disappointed at all.
Pattern of the lens is amazing too. It's one of those super fun lens to give your eyes a whole different effect- in this case, blue cat eyes.

No lens vs Lens comparison. Click to enlarge
Pattern is simple cat eyes which leads to the problem of the lens rotating- making it lop sided, so you'll end up one side with a horizontal eye while the other is vertical for one instance.

BUT surprisingly this occurs VERY rarely because for some reason once you put the lens in- it repositions itself everytime you blink.
So for example- you put your lens in and it's the right way (vertical oval), after a couple of blinks it'll rotate itself and adjust to do half a rotation until it's vertical again and then it'll stay without sliding. I don't know what it is or maybe the way it's specifically shaped but yeah.
The pattern DOES stand out and you can see the cat eye pattern clearly but not ridiculously instantly noticeable if someone passes by. Overall color and pattern - I am quite impressed.

There IS one thing of the pattern I have to note as with most of these crazy lens is that it may hinder abit of your vision because of the circle where your pupil see's through may be smaller than your actual pupil. So sometimes you'll be seeing abit of the lens but this happens sometimes, usually when you move.

ENLARGING
Pretty much no enlarging effect whatsoever. The lens design has a solid color without a limbal ring. But I don't think these lens are for the enlarging purposes :)

COMFORT
Comfort wise is a mixed feeling. Reason I say this is despite stating that the base curve is the standard 8.6mm, it feels more deeper. Which doesn't really hinder much because this feeling can be caused by a couple of factors as follows.
The lens is definitely harder than of your other circle lenses and does feel a tad heavy. By heavy - I mean that you know you're wearing lens or there is something in your eye. But it doesn't strain on your eye so that's a good thing.
Hydration wise - average. After the 2-3rd hour of wearing, my eyes started getting dry and slightly heavy. Because the lens is quite solid- it doesn't really let the eyes breathe so freely despite being made of hydrogel material which supposingly doesn't dry the eyes.
As mentioned earlier in the pattern - you do see the lens abit which gives you this sudden trippy feel.
Overall it's not so bad, on par with average.

Color : 4 / 5
Enlarging : 0-0.5 / 5
Comfort : 3 / 5
Price : 2.5 / 5

VERDICT?
I would recommend the lens IF you're looking for some fun cat eye lens where you need it and you'll probably be making some use of it.  They're super fun and does achieve the blue cat eye look. Considering I think this is the only series I know that does blue cat eyes.
Otherwise if you're planning to not wear it often (especially on a budget like me QAQ) then probably not considering you're paying around $25 USD for lens that you won't wear much and you're gonna have to throw it away after 3 months of use. And also where the comfort is not the best, yeahhh you get my drift ;).

[Contact lens review] EOS dark ice 2 tone green

Hello! Hope you're all doing well!

Today I'm back with a contact lens review (been a while >_<;) and will be reviewing the EOS dark ice 2 tone series in the color green. (apparently the EOS ice series and the DARK ice series are different)

These lenses were from LensVillage.com and retail for around $23.00 USD.
Please ignore the fact that the lens bottle says dollyeye rather than the EOS bottle. I did email and did some research and turns out it is another company that sells lenses and just uses their own labelling. These are still authentic EOS lenses and is safe to wear.

Here are some of the details of the lens:
  • Diameter (DIA) : 14.8-15.0MM
  • Base Curve (B.C) : 8.6mm
  • Water Content : 38%
  • One year expiry
  • Comes in various prescriptions from -0.00(plano) to -10.00
  • Comes in 6 different colors: Blue. Grey/Gray, Green, Brown, Pink, Purple

So let's begin with the review! ^_^)/
Gonna try keep this as simple as possible but as detailed as I can ouo)/
LET'S GO!
click to englarge
Color & Pattern
The color really stands out on my dark eyes and you can see the design/pattern of the lens. These lens does have an icy design blending toward the pupil and is also the same color  but slightly darker at the limbal ring.

lens in different lighting (click to enlarge)
It gives more of a glistening crystal look as the design is more focused on the outside of your iris where the limbal ring is and therefore definitely does not give so much of natural look BUT at the same not to creepy. I have been asked on one occasion if my eyes glow in the dark because the colors do look like the green for glow in the dark objects hahaha!
Overall pretty :D (actually got complimented when strolling around in the makeup section of the department store ^__^)

lens vs no lens (click to enlarge - sorry about the choppy pics >_<;)
Englarging
Not much of an enlarging effect because the design does not have a dark limbal ring to give that enlarging effect. Despite the large diameter - without the dark limbal ring, it blends with the eye whites more than with the pupil.

Can see the pattern&color showing on the eye whites.
Comfort
I've worn these lenses twice now and I've noticed that sometimes I'd feel a grit or sudden discomfort even when I'm just home, talking with friends or driving. Not sure if because of me or my surroundings but I've experienced these sudden discomfort once in a while for the two times I've worn it.
Heavy wise - not so much. They're soft and somewhat light, however you do feel that you are wearing something.
Hydration wise- not so bad considering it has a water content of 38%. It did hold up for approximately 3-4 hours until it started feeling dry.
Overall in the end minus the discomfort and slight weight, they're comfy to wear for the average 8 hours.

Color : 4 / 5
Enlarging : 2.5 / 5
Comfort : 3.5 / 5
Price : 3.5 / 5

Verdict?
I do recommend these lens if you're going for a great payoff in color and not so much in enlarging.
Would definitely wear these out again and update if I still experience the discomforts still and would love to try other colors as well! *^*)/

Available to purchase HERE AT LENSVILLAGE ^__^)v

Until then~
Stay well & take care!

Contact lens Review : Dueba Puffy 3 Tone - Brown (PICTURE HEAVY)

Yo! Hope you're all doing well!

This will be the first time I'm doing a contact lens review and the first pair of lenses I'll be reviewing is the Dueba Puffy 3 Tone.

Also did a video review on the len which can be viewed her :

I ordered these lenses on Honeycolor originally retailing for $25.90USD, but now on sale for only $20.72USD in the color brown.

To make it short and easy to read (hopefully), I'll post the details in points.
  • Diameter (DIA) : 14.5mm
  • Base Curve (B.C) : 8.6mm
  • Water Content : 38%
  • One year expiry
  • Comes in 6 different colors: Blue. Grey/Gray, Green, Brown, Pink, Purple
  • Comes in different prescriptions.

Before I start with the lens review, lets quickly (okay not so quick) talk about HoneyColor's service.
Honeycolor was recommended to me by a good cosplayer friend of mine (Thanks Pina!) and ever since 2009- I've been ordering my contact lenses from HoneyColor, so it's been approximately almost 4 years now and their service has never failed to deliver.

Variety & Price : There is a wide range of variety of lenses from different brands such as GEO, Beaucon, Dolly+, Dueba etc and each is quite reasonably priced in my opinion. Honeycolor do tend to have sales on different lenses every month and especially on newly released lenses. Who doesn't love sales :P

Processing orders : They are really fast on processing orders, especially if you order your lenses on a weekday. I ordered my lenses on the 18th May 2013, which was a weekend so they couldn't really respond and prepare my package until the weekday. Tuesday I receive an email confirming that my package have been shipped.

Shipping & Postage : They have two range of shipping, the normal shipping which is $9.00AUD, and the express for $12.00AUD. It wasn't until this order that I realised that the shipping price for the standard shipping was jacked up by $3.00AUD as it used to be $6.00AUD. To be honest $6.00AUD for postage was kinda killing me already since I'm quite tight on that. BUT let me just say that the normal shipping is great unless you're in super desperate need. On average the package arrives no later than 2 weeks, usually its 1.5-2weeks on the dot. Sometimes when the offices and posts aren't busy and sends out the packages instantly, you may even receive your package within a week.
My package was shipped on the 21st May, and I received it on the 24th-25th May which was very unexpected considering I payed for the standard shipping. Both shipping do come with a working tracking number which is very reassuring.

Packaging : The packaging is secure and safe to ensure the lenses and products arrive in one piece since the lenses do come in small glass viles. Typically for small orders you will receive lenses in a small orangey-yellow bag that's lined with bubble wrap.

Inside the bag you will receive your free contact lense case thats sealed up to ensure that the cases are brand new and free from contamination. Along with the case is a small box in which your lens vile is stored and stays put in place.

Service : The service in terms of contacting them is alright, I wouldn't say the best as there have been past experiences where I tried to contact them via email to resolve an issue I had (apparently they were out of stock on the lenses and they asked me to contact them about it) and they didn't reply at all. BUT I've been told that Honeycolor is more active on Facebook and that they reply very quickly.

ANYWAY! That wraps up for Honeycolor, let's get back onto the contact lens review.
The contact lenses comes in sealed viles that labels "DUEBA MESSISH". I don't know why it doesn't say Puffy 3 Tone or even Barbie like other reviews I've read, but oh well.

I ordered the lenses in the color brown with no prescription. Originally I wanted to get my own prescription on it which is ±0.50-0.75 but apparently the lowest prescription you can get apart from ±0.00 was ±1.00 which was too strong for my eye, so no prescription for the best.

From looking at the lens alone, they looked very similar to the GEO TRICOLOR series however the centre color of the lens is darker than the GEO TRICOLOR series which blends into the pupil. What I love about this lens is the outter rim not being a black ring, giving it a more natural look. The pattern seem to look quite natural and the fact that it has 3-tones of one color gives is a natural appeal.

New lenses when first opened should be stored in new contact lens solution for a minimum of 6 hours as the sterile buffered saline solution in the vile has been stored for too long which can harm the eyes despite it being sterile.

After putting one lens in, I was actually surprised by a couple of things.
  1. The color was surprisingly vibrant and showed up. Thought it would've blended in with my natural eye like GEO NUDY series.
  2. Thought the enlarging effect was large but it was pretty good, not as bad as other 14.5mm lenses I've tried
  3. Lens was soft and easy to put it and extremely comfortable
Natural naked eye on left, Lens on the right. Derpy snapshot from Review Video

Natural naked eye on left, Lens on the right. Sorry out of focus. Snapshot from Review Video
The lenses surprisingly showed up on all different lighting, from dim rooms and of course bright daylight lighting.

Daylight with closed blinds for dim room.

Outdoor Daylight lighting

One thing I've noticed from looking at it especially up close is that it does kind of look poppy like the GEO TRICOLOR but not as much since the color is more darker. From afar I guess they do look somewhat natural, but surely up close like casual conversation- people would notice they're lenses (maybe?).

So I wore the lenses for the whole day (6 hours is the average time frame lenses should be worn before they start to get dry) and I honestly did not feel any discomfort until the 5th-6th hour. Faced many weather challenges as it was cold and sunny and also super windy while I was driving which I would expect my contact to dry out, but it didn't. It may be because these lenses are brand new and I've only worn them twice (second time for this review) but yeah.

Here is what my eyes look like 2-3 hours after putting the lens in :

Here are my eyes at the end of the night after having the lens on for approximately 6 hours. By this time my eyes felt slightly dry, especially when I was so concentrated making some cosplay props (as seen behind) which I didn't blink as often as I should. But yeah my eyes did sting only a tiny bit hence my eyes are abit red.

Verdict?
I definitely do recommend these lenses.
  • They have vibrant colors that show up quite naturally. Which can be worn normally and for cosplay purposes.
  • They're super comfortable and soft which allows my eyes to breathe.
  • They have a slight enlarging effect with its 14.5mm diameter.
  • They come in 6 different colors.
Here are my ratings:
Color : 4/5
Comfort : 4/5
Englarging : 3.5/5
Price : 3/5

That concludes the first contact lens review, sorry for the babbling along the way- will try cut down on those~  Here, have another pic of me (to eat your internet) with flash with the lens on taken tonight after an outting  O3O)/

Hope this review was somewhat helpful, please do leave a comment on what you think and also your thoughts and opinions on the lens as well. Would love to see it :)
Until then, stay well and take care!

Cosplay x Contact Lenses

Wraddup everyone, hope you're all doing well!

So this entry will just be a more detailed and written version of my latest youtube upload on 'Cosplay x Contact Lenses' featuring fellow Sydney cosplayer Tina also known as fuyumi.

Please check out Tina's pages:
Facebook : http://facebook.com/fudafuCOS
DeviantArt : http://fudafu.deviantart.com

Blog : http://diariesofacosplayer.blogspot.com.au/
Review blog : http://alliwanttoreview.blogspot.com.au/

Now, once again this is another personal thoughts and opinion thing from both Tina and I so it's possible that you may not agree with us but yeah. Just us sharing our thoughts out there. :)

→ Purpose of contact lenses (in cosplay)
Contact lenses does so much wonders in cosplay because it changes the color and enhances the eyes through various patterns and vibrancies along with being able to change the size of your eyes with enlarging properties.
In saying that and wearing contact lenses when cosplaying, it makes the cosplay more accurate/precise and brings the character more to life especially during photoshoots where having close up portraits of the face, since the eyes will be a pin-point of the picture and the cosplay.
Also contact lenses when bought with power, helps gives vision which allows you to see without the need of wearing glasses which is a YAY since we like to see where we're going and what's going on around us.

→ Contact lenses vs No lenses
There is quite a difference since the normal naked eye doesn't give it that pop, 3D-ness, surreal look especially when having makeup on, the normal eye's color and shape is overpowered by the makeup which loses look's purpose.
As mentioned earlier, contact lenses comes in all different size, pattern, color in which these properties does change the eye completely- even if the lense is the "natural type".

→ Personal opinion whether necessary in cosplay
In Tina's opinions, she thinks it is necessary in cosplay because it makes quite a difference and brings the character more to life.
In my opinion, I think it is quite necessary having them being the same reason as Tina's opinion.
However it is understandable that there are circumstances in which contact lenses cannot be worn especially health concerns. If for some reason the contact really stings the eye on the day of wearing the cosplay, and you decide to not wear lenses- it doesn't mean you'll be hated or harshly judge. It is for the best.

In sharing our opinion that it is quite necessary, we are not encouraging and saying that it's a MUST, it's just more preferred to adapt in wearing them with cosplay.

→ Handling

  • Be sure that your hands are properly cleaned with soap before beginning
  • Wash your fingers/hands with the contact lens (saline) solution before handling the lenses
  • Handle the lenses with contact lens tweezers with rubber tips
  • Be sure the lenses are clean when looking through the lens, it should be free from marks/tears (if so, clean by rubbing the lenses with your finger and solution)
  • Try best not to tug on the eye when inserting lenses, this causes the skin to stretch and cause it to prematurely sag/wrinkle especially when the skin around the eye is super delicate and thin
  • Remember to change the solution being stored in the case often and every time lenses are being handled
  • Always wear lenses before applying makeup/skincare

→ Prices & Availability
The availability of contact lenses is so vast nowadays as they can be found online via websites, blogs, facebook stores etc; optometrists and beauty stores; people/friends who bulk buy etc.
I usually get my lenses online at http://www.honeycolor.com (as you can see in the ad on the right -i'm not sponsored, just a support for them) . Their lenses are legit, decent priced and the shipping usually takes around 2 weeks to get to more.

The legitimacy of lenses vary every store, you really have to check on feedbacks of the stores and the lenses. Don't hesitate to ask them for details and pictures of seals etc because this is for your own good and theirs too. :)

The prices of lenses vary upon each stores depending on the style, brand, size, popularity, quality, water content etc. But the prices usually range between $16US - $30 for the Japanese/Korean ones.

→ Alternative to contact lenses - Photoshopping
When not wearing lenses, there is also the alternative of photoshopping in lenses. There is a trick when photoshopping lenses and that is to make sure the pupil is still your original color (black/dark) and be sure to add some light definition so there is life in your eyes. Also when adding colors, remember to keep the color opaque so you still see the natural patterns in the eyes.

IN THE END~
Wearing contact lenses is quite a big step as it involves putting something into the eye which is extremely dangerous and scary as well, so please do be careful, take it slow and take care when wearing lenses.
Be sure to have great hygiene when handling them from beginning to end.
Also to consult your optometrist prior to wearing lenses to see whether you can wear lenses or not, and to know how to handle the lenses more properly.
Eyes are something that is pretty much irreplaceble so do cherish them and take great care of them.
Vision is a great gift, make great use of what you can in this life. :)

Anyway, hope it is somewhat informative. I will try to add pictures tomorrow.
Until then, stay well & take care!

Packages

Yo! Hope you're all doing well!
Today I received two packages in the mail, one being beads I ordered on Ebay for the "Sukitte ii na yo" bracelet; and the other one being red contact lenses I ordered for the first time from pinkyparadise.com

So the beads I ordered this time are round crackled beads to complete the ending of the bracelet which hangs off. I actually ordered round cat eye beads to complete the bracelet but turns out that the bead was just way too small for the cord to fit, so resolved in buying the crackle ones which are abit large but it does the job. Just gotta drill the hole bigger so the cord can fit. Also ordered more cobalt blue chip beads since I was running out.

For the contact lenses, I'll do a full review about them and the package in another entry when I do try the lenses on. The lenses have been removed out of it's sterile solution and placed in the contact lense holder with saline solution, gotta let it soak for minimumm 12 hours. But yeah, bought the Dolly+ Red lenses from pinkyparadise.com instead from the usual honeycolor.com (as you can see in the ad section in which I'm not getting paid to put it there, it's just a my recommendation and support). So far the service of pinkyparadise is great and arrives in 14 days as ordered as mentioned and yeah, will go into depth in the actual post.

And yeah, I shall end the post now and head to bed since its 3.20am and I gotta wake up at 7am because my cousin is coming back from her holiday at 8-9am and I gotta give her house keys haha!
Also I have a photoshoot at 3pm with Florence-san (fellow cosplayer) and we're shooting Stocking cop/police version from Panty & Stocking. I'm gonna be doing the male version. So many worries because its gonna be 31 degrees and foundation and makeup just gonna be terrible hahaah! Will try to vlog the day if I can.

Until then. stay well. take care and goodnight! :D
