What's in my makeup bag

Hello everyone!
Hope you're all doing well!
ALSO! HAPPY NEW YEAR OF 2015!
I know it's abit late but better late than never right? haha!

So I'm back in the new year with a new blogpost- What I carry in my makeup bag.

Majority of people are probably wondering "Why does a guy need a makeup bag?"
Simply because I am quite conscious with how I present myself and this bag contains the essentials I need to prep myself for the whole day.

So I can actually prepare my face for a night out after work or if I'm at a friends house and need to go somewhere after etc. Also my position at work kind of requires us to present ourselves well so this bag has it :D

Does this mean I wear makeup on a daily basis? I wouldn't say daily but pretty much everytime I leave the house for a bit of time. Now when I say I wear makeup, this doesn't mean my face is completely makeup- the main things I do are my eyebrows, abit of eyeliner on the outer corners to define my eyes, lipbalm/tint. Voila

Anyway! Let's get started on the post!

This is the makeup bag I carry around almost everywhere when I'm out. Despite it being quite bulky, it is still in my bag regardless.

It's the Shu Uemura 6 Heart Princess limited holiday collection in 2013 and they gave this bag if you bought a certain amount of products from that line from what I remember.

It's a super cute bag with 3 compartments/sections which is super convenient for organising certain things in different sections with a zipper to close up the whole bag.

Lets start off with my number 1 essentials - eyebrow pencils, eyeliners, mascaras and sharpener.

To me eyebrows are SUPER important as it frames the face and also can change up your look. Because my resting face makes me look as if I'm bored or angry all the time - I tend to sport for a straight brow shape and sometimes slightly slanted down like Makoto from FREE! what I like to call the "yasashii" brows.
What I'm currently using to draw my brows is the Gorgeous Cosmetic brow pencil; I usually use this to draw the tails of my brows and fill in the outer third of my brows where it's sparse.

To complete the brow- I use the ETUDE house Color my brows in the color natural to tint my brows (which are currently blonde) and also tint the skin in the middle blending in with the darker color of the drawn tail. This is also used to groom and tame the hairs on my brows so they're not pointing in all directions.
Sometimes I also like to use the "Maybelline Sky Curves" mascara to tint my brows for days where I want dark brows (before I bleached my hair). I rarely wear mascara so they're mainly for my brows haha.

Lastly to soften up the brows - I use the spooly from the Kevyn Aucoin's brow precision crayon which is really nice and soft so when you soften the edges- it is not completely brushing off what you have drawn. I use to use this crayon to draw my brows as the color I bought was in ash blonde which was a really nice color that blended with my bleached blonde brows however since it ran out - I've just kept it for the spooly.
I've decided not to repurchase the crayon only because it costed $70 AUD which killed me everytime it broke off because I was drawing too hard QAQ.

The nude eyeliner on the far left is for highlighting the under brows and also to highlight my nose bridge and cupids bow especially at night when I'm going out and I need a more kick in highlighting. Also use it to line my waterliner when my eyes are abit red especially when I wear contact lenses. By doing so - I look more awake and not tired or strained. This one here is the "Rimmel Exaggerate" in the color "In the Nude".

A brown eyeliner pencil is one of the most versatile thing where you can use it to do your eyeliner and contour for your nose and for the side of your cheeks. Here I use a cheap 2 dollar one I bought from the chinese dollar store which they don't have any more. It's super pigmented and creamy and very blendable which makes it even easier for other use.

And lastly a sharpener is a must especially when you do your brows- it's good to have a somewhat sharp tip for great precision especially on that arch.

Because I wear contact lenses on almost a daily basis- Contact lens compact consisting of contact lens case and tweezers along with eyedrops is a big must!

The lens case is filled up with saline solution just incase a friend or myself forget or lose our lens case and we need to store out lenses when our eyes are getting irritating (especially a whole day of wearing lenses).

Eyedrops is a must for someone else or myself when our eyes are feeling dry. Usually I carry a 4-pack but as you can see, there's only 2 left soo they've been really useful haha.

Moving to the face- sunscreen/moisturiser and face primer.

Rather than carrying a bottle of sunscreen or moisturiser, I put them in these contact lens cases (which have been used before and cleaned out) which I cut up to make individual pots. You'll be surprised how much content one pot can hold and will last up to 3 applications on the face.

There are days where you just got to reapply your sunscreen especially when you're in the sun. For me - I use to walk back to the station and home from work when my car broken down and because the sun was blazing even in the afternoon - sunscreen was a must!

Why the primer? When I'm about to go out at night after work - I like to remove everything I had on my face beforehand and wash my face. Because I've removed everything - I still want my face to have a layer that separates the makeup and the skin/skincare at the same time keeping my makeup put and not make my face shiny.

Some makeup tools and a compact are very useful as well :D
I carry a compact that has a mirror to set my face so that it controls the oils and shine on my face while keeping the other layers on my face put. This compact has a tinge of color which gives me a very light coverage.

Even though the compact comes with a sponge- I prefer to use a brush and hence I carry some of the travel size brushes. This is Shu Uemura 6 Heart Princess travel size brushes which comes with a powder brush, mini foundation/concealer brush, lip/eyeliner brush and a flat eyeshadow brush. All are versatile and great on the go.

I tend to keep the compact together in the brush case just because what I need to use the compact is there. Also because my makeup bag is quite bulky- I also keep other small things in the brush bag slot as well.

More products to complete the base for the face :D (Hey that rhymes) : Highlighting trio compact, Foundation stick, concealer.

Going from left to right:
The first thing is a trio highlighting compact/palette by Elizabeth Arden. Usually I highlight my features when I go out at night where photos will be taken. The trio is great as I can use different colors for different areas of my face to highlight for example the pink on my cupids bow and inner eye corner while the yellow on my nose bridge and cheek bones. It also comes with a small retractable brush next to it which isn't the best but It does the job.

Next is foundation and here is the Maybelline FIT me stick foundation. As I've mentioned this before in one of my previous blogpost - I have a love and hate relationship with this foundation. Overall it's a super convenient foundation in a stick form to take along where I can just draw on my face and blend with my clean hands or brush without making a mess and also it sets to a powder finish. However you still need to set it with a light dust of setting powder just so it doesn't move as this foundation transfers.

Lastly is concealer and this is one where I've tried recently and can see why so many bloggers and beauty experts/gurus recommend-  Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Dark Circle Eraser. Super compact packaging and also easy application for days where I look extremely tired. It is slightly on the lighter side of my skin color in summer (more suitable for winter) so I also use this as a highlighter.

To finish off the entire face - some lip products!
Lip balms are a big must for me as I like to keep my lips moisturised and hydrated. I'm too use to the feeling of lipbalm on my lips and just can't go without it. I'd keep touching my lips and pursing my lips if they were dry. So here I have the EOS lipbalm in Honeydew.

Because my natural lip color is on the purple side which makes me look kind of dead- I like to add a little bit of color to my lips. Here I have the VDL Triple Shot Tint bar which gives my lips a nice gradient tint like what the koreans have.

There are times where I need to remove makeup or made a mistake and need to clean up before reapplying and a small sample size makeup removing cleansing oil is perfect for on the go :)
Oils are more efficient at removing makeup and also last long as a little goes a very long way. This is the CLIO Makeup Away Cleansing Oil that I used in my night skincare regime video.

A small spray bottle filled with water, green tea or orange blossom water is super handy especially on hot weather where your face just needs to be hydrated or freshened up just with a few sprays onto the face. This not only freshens or hydrates the face, but also can set your makeup.

Speaking of tools earlier, here are some that are very useful to have along: Tissues, Cotton buds, cotton pads, blotting paper, eyelid tape.

Tissues - self explanitory. You just need a pack of tissues no matter where you go (almost) haha!

Cotton buds/Q-tips are super great disposable tools for cleaning up makeup, for blending eyeshadow/eyeliner, for popping pimples without using your hands, etc.

I carry some cotton pads for when removing makeup or when I just need to swipe my face to tone the skin after spraying my face or just to simply dry my face.

Blotting paper is a big must must! Especially for my combination skin where I get pretty oily and shiny in summer. Also super great to blot the skin before doing touchup on makeup especially if you're going to fix your base makeup.

I like to carry some extra eyelid tape just for days where my eyes are uneven (pretty much everyday).

I am super duper conscious with me smelling bad. Maybe because whenever I am near someone who has a bad body odour and when the smell just hits me, I just can't overlook it.
SO! I always must carry a small deodorant with me (here I have a roll-on one) and a small spray bottle filled with cologne to freshen up.
I guess this is why my friends says things like "it smells like Danny" LOLOL!

Lastly in my bag is this umm ... thing LOL! One side has a narrow mirror which is super handy and the other side is a lint brush which is surprisingly really good to have especially because my work pants attract dust so easily so yeah. It's portable and flat so no hassle carrying it in my makeup bag :D

So that's it for this post. Thank you so much for reading, sorry it was really long. Actually wanted to keep it simple but ... guess that failed LOL! Hope you do find it somewhat enjoying to read :)

Until then,
Stay well & Take care!

Casual Photoshoot - Tiger print hooded vest (PICTURE HEAVY)

Yo! Hope you're all doing well!

Yesterday I had a photoshoot with Pandori-san for the tiger printed hooded vest that I made just because I show off what I made :D

We shot at the armory of Olympic Park which was a great find for location because we actually have never been here before and was really surprised with the variety of scenery that was around so it was really great.

I had chores and errands to do in the morning so getting myself ready once I got home was quite rushed so I didn't end up doing my eye makeup until I was at the location but in the end I thought the outfit turned out well. Luckily I already planned out my outfit the night before so all I had to do really was my base makeup and contouring. Also did my hair at the location.

This is how I looked liked after the shoot but you kinda get the jizz of how I looked for the shoot.

For the eye makeup, I tried to replicate the patterns of the tiger onto my eyes, using the colors similar to the vest. The makeup I thought was alright however would've been heaps better if I had a white cream shadow/liner since the white powdered shadow didn't stand out so much. Also some of the black liquid liner used to draw the tiger stripes smudged so towards 2/3 of the shoot, the makeup was slightly messy.

(Sorry for the colors of the photos)

Sorry about the red eyes, eyes getting exhausted from contact lenses

My outfit for the shoot consisted of a basic black short sleeve dress shirt layered with the hooded vest over it. Wore my usual adjustable brass colored chain to tie the collar of my dress shirt together and to add a little detail to the plain dress shirt.

I added a big gold chain necklace around the hoodie area of the vest to tie together the whole top for the complete look. The gold chain necklace really does add such character and boldness to the outfit and also makes the vest look like a cape.

Added on a clip earring and a magnetic earring on my left ear to match the detail I had on my top. To be honest I had to ask friends on instagram, twitter and facebook for opinions on the long clip-on earring because it looks abit too much yet it gives this superior feel to it. Eventually I decided to go with it. Though they were only on for the first half of the shoot because I forgot to put them back on after we took a break.

For accesories on arms and hands, I wore a black vinyl cuff bracelet that I made from spare vinyl fabric and a rhinestone brad on my left wrist .

Wore a simple copper ring with a large black oval detail which matched really well with the entire outfit. Never wore this ring because It use to be to tight, but turns out I can just fit it now. Literally JUST because sometimes it gets stuck even haha!

On my right arm, I wore the strange bondage-looking arm thing that I made mentioned in the previous blogpost.

This is the eyelet string/ribbon I mentioned in the previous blogpost.

For the bottoms, I wore skinny black jeans which wrapped around my legs really well paired and tucked in with my Ebay combat boots mentioned alot in my OOTD posts. Simple and classy. :D

BACK ONTO THE PHOTOSHOOT TOPIC. . .
Got to Pandori-san's place at approximately 1.30pm to pick him and then zoomzoom we go to the destination!

So funny upon driving to our destination because we both have never been here but I've drove passed it but upon entering the entrace, we see this prison-looking place which made us go " O_O ". Had no idea where we were but kept driving and eventually reached a super nice looking area which is a large park which we were so amazed of the area and this discovery. Truly awesome! Did my makeup and my hair in the car and fixed anything that needed to be fixed and off we went to shoot!

We explored the area abit and took some photos where we could but yeah I think we just got carried away with how awesome the place was.

Here's a picture of me and pandori-san owo)/

After exploring the place and shooting for approximately an hour and a half, we went back to Pandori-san's house to pick up Wanye-san who bought us some sausages and bread to cook over the BBQ at the photoshoot destination since the park had BBQ hot plates to cook on =)

Picked up Wanye-san and got to the destination again and decided that we would eat first then shoot because by the time we finish eating, it would be the perfect time to shoot since it'll be golden hour.

Cooked up some sausages and toasted some bread. This is the life, one of the best photoshoots I've been to. Good weather, good location, good food, great people and even had good music playing because of the other people having BBQ next to us playing some nice jazzy music. Was so great.

Me with my half sausage looking suspicious but hey- SEAGULL!

Ate till we were all nicely full, cleaned up and got back to business with shooting. The lighting by the time we started shooting was just simply amazing because of golden hour. The trick with golden hour photography is to work fast and capture because the sun sets really fast.

Once the sun was down, we decided to go play in the children's playground which is really big. We had great fun and even had some shots with the water feature. I unexpectedly got wet twice by the water feature because I didn't expect the water to come at me. But it was all great fun :D

Here's a picture of Wanye-san, me, and pandori-san owo)/

And that pretty much concludes the casual photoshoot :D
I really do look forward shooting at this location more with amazing people.

Before I end the blogpost, here is one of the amazing RAW photos taken at the shoot by Pandori-san. So awesome and from a RAW photo too, no edit. I do really look forward to the photo that'll be released :D

Please check out and like Pandori-san's facebook page at http://facebook.com/pandographi
Also, Wanye-san now has a facebook page as well, please check out his page at http://www.facebook.com/Kagami1ye

Until then, stay well & take care!

Makeup Review : Elizabeth Arden Day to Night Holiday Color Collection

Hey everyone, hope you're all doing well!

Before I get started with the review, just like to say thank you for everyone for viewing my blog, youtube vids, deviantart etc etc. And thanks always for the comments and support.

Makes me super happy especially when I'm currently a NEET and looking for jobs >_<; but yeah.

That being said, I've been trying to apply for Adsense for the blog, just to see if I'm able to make some chingching and also because I always get so curious about these things.
BUT they didn't approve my blog with adsense so yeah, no chingching ahahaha. Not sure if you still see an ad on the bottom side of the page (no the Honeycolor ad - those arnt sponsored, just my support for them) but yeah.

SO LETS GET ON TO THE REVIEW.

Towards the end of last year, mom and I were just shopping at our local area and they were advertising Elizabeth Arden's Holiday Collection kit which apparently originally all the products combined retailed for approximately $300AUD (I think that's what the ad said) and was only sold for $90-98AUD.

At first we were just thinking whether we'd use any of the products but after long thinking, discussing and testing the products out, mom and I decided to split and buy the set anyway.

Mom actually wanted the lipsticks and mascara while I wanted bag, travel brushes, makeup remover. And the eyeshadows we just share or save to give to my aunty who lives in vietnam who is great with makeup.

When purchasing the kit, it comes in a box like so:

Showing what is contained inside the kit along with details along the sides of the box noting the products.
The kit contains:
→ Makeup bag
→ Mascara x 1
→ Shimmer Powder x 1
→ Makeup Remover 50mL x 1
→ Travel size brush x 3
→ Day & Night Makeup Bundle (Each bundle should contain an eyeshadow & blush palette in one, two lipsticks, one lipliner, one eyeliner, and lipgloss)

The makeup bag containing all the products inside should look like this when taken out of the box and the plastic bag. Red & Black gradient symbolising the Day (red) to Night (black) and has the signature Elizabeth Arden logo as their zippers.
My impression of the bag was great, the bag was spacious, didn't feel like those cheap sticky PVC material, the zip was smooth and didn't snag, hand was nicely sewn along with the bag was nicely sewn. So overall the bag is good for me :)
On the personal side, I actually like bags that are spacious because you are able to hold more and more of the chunkier products and it is easier to dig through to find the products unlike those other spacious bags where it has a zip in the middle and you literally just feel like pouring every content of the bag out just to find what you want.

As you unzip the bag, this is how the products are packaged inside of the bag and yeah.

There are four lipsticks in total, two for the day bundle and two for the night bundle and it's easy to tell which is for which bundle just from looking at the packaging.

At first glance I thought that the lipstick packaging was quite nice and classy looking and actually thought there'd be a little weight to them. But actually the packaging felt quite cheap, the plastic was super light and it just felt like those plastic containers where if you drop it- it's bound to crack. So slight disappointment in that. But hey, others aren't going to hold the lipstick so they won't know its cheap packaging when you're applying so all good ;)

One lip gloss is also included in each of the bundle. When I switched the gloss around and tested it with the lipstick, I thought they still somewhat complimented each other especially the more nude one but their choices in gloss with the lipstick is quite well.

More details about the lip products will be mentioned later on when reviewing the bundle.

With each of the bundle, you also receive a lip liner and an eye liner to compliment the theme for day or night.

Makeup remover- "All Gone Eye and Lip Makeup Remover" (50mL).
I have yet to test the remover yet but when I opened it, it's a twist cap bottle and one of those bottles with a small hole where you place a cotton pad over and soak it. There's not really much of a scent- almost no scent I would say, kinda just has that very very slight chemical smell but that's normal with all remover. Judging from reviews I've read on the remover, it works well and is apparently is quite gentle and suitable for all skin type. The bad reviews I've read of it seems like the people didn't know how to use it to remove.
Basically and typically for most makeup removers is to :
→ Soak some of the remover onto the cotton pad
→ Place it over your eye (while closed)
→ Keep it placed over the eye for approximately at least 5 seconds to allow the remover to break down the products
→ Gently swipe outwards, and most of your makeup should be removed and easily wiped off.

Alot of the bad reviews I read, people were complaining they needed to rub and swipe harshly and used alot of cotton pads etc etc. Obviously they didn't let the magic work its way to break down the product which made them rub and use alot of products and cotton pads.

One thing I found quite interesting was that when I first took it out of the makeup bag, the liquid had two layers which shows that the remover's content is most likely half oil and half water which is great and shows that it would be suitable for almost all skin types.
To remove this problem of having split layers, just shake the bottle prior to use and it should be fine for abit. Of course the layers will split again but yeah.

I was reading and researching abit about the ingredients and it is great to see that they do not have isopropyl alcohol used in the remover.
Propanoic alcohol is commonly known as rubbing alcohol is often used to sterile equipments in medical industries and is very harsh on the skin (even in super small doses, it can dry out the skin intensely).

The alcohol used in this remover is Benzyl alcohol which is typically more on the safer side of alcohol since equal or less than 5% in concentration of it is considered a safezone. Despite that, it still is quite drying on the skin but not as bad.

Mascara- This is the "Ceramide Lash Extending Treatment Mascara" (3mL)
My mom tried this mascara on herself where her lashes are quite short and sparse, and it just looked really good on her. Her lashes was more visible and had this really nice natural thing to her eye as if her lashes was full (has that tightlined look? then again depends on the method you apply).
HOWEVER when I tried the mascara for myself, I don't know- it just looked super clumpy for me. I get a super strong feeling because of the way I applied to it but yeah, it does lengthen my lashes that's for sure. Just the dolly clumping that bothered me, also may I add that it doesn't really holds its curls or add volume- which is understandable as it is known for its lengthening powers.
On the PLUS side, the formula seemed to condition the lashes really well most likely due to the name "treatment mascara". My lashes did feel soft and (probably my imagination) but slightly still had some of the length power after removing the eye makeup with the usual remover and cleanser. I don't know how to put it but it was definitely different compared to the usual.
The wand was your average spooly-looking wand with just the ordinary shape, nothing different or unique, slightly flexible due to the plastic wand but yeah.
I'm iffy with this at the moment, maybe when I apply it more correctly then it'd probably look great as my mom tried it, but in terms of formula- the formula is great that it conditions the lashes as a treatment like the name says. :)

Travel Size Makeup Brushes
This was what I was looking for since I like convenient brushes. In the brush set, you get three different brushes within a small plastic pouch that contains-
→ Angled brush
→ Flash eyeshadow brush
→ Powder brush

→ Angled brush
Was super unexpected as I thought it'd be like your typical angled liner brush but when I first opened it, it was actually a soft yet somewhat dense angled brush. Perfect for smudging out eyeliner and eyeshadow for smokey or soft look. Generally not good for lining but that's all good. The hairs didn't fall out at all and the feel of it didn't feel cheap.

→ Flat Eyeshadow brush
Just your usual flat eyeshadow brush is all I can really say, soft and somewhat dense- wouldn't be good to act as a concealer brush but it is great for eyeshadow. Once again the bristles didn't feel cheap and didn't fall out.

→ Powder brush
Now this brush concerned me alot. Even just looking at the picture, the bristles just look low quality, dead, dry etc- just looks like a dead wig. So I gave it a chance and had a little feel (not puns intended ;P) and yeah. The bristles are soft and actually doesn't feel so cheap quality but definitely not the same quality as the other two brushes. Probably would do so much better if it was condiitoned. But overall I think it'll get its job done :)

Shimmer Powder Trio (5g)
It took me a while to realise what this was actually, I thought it was an eyeshadow trio but looked at the details and realised it was like a shimmer brick. It came with a cute retractable brush (not the best quality bristles but does its job) and yeah.

Tested out the powders and my verdict is glitter/shimmer galore. Like it falls out upon picking it up and after I apply it on my skin, there is ALOT of shimmer. At first I thought the brush picked up too much so then i tried it with a cotton bud, and same result- shimmer all the way that spreaded really easily upon rubbing it. But the shimmer does stay as expected of shimmers and glitters, even as I type this at 4.30am- the area where I tested in the picture still has shimmer on it even after washing my hands etc.
For color wise, I can only see myself using the middle one to highlight my cheek bones, brow bone, cupids bow and nose bridge. Not much of the yellow or the right one. If I were to rate this out of 5, it'd probably be a 3.

Day Bundle

According to the packaging, the products in the day bundle:
→ Eyeshadow&Blush palette
→ Pencil Eyeliner in Black Brown
→ Pencil Lipliner in Cocoa Rose
→ Two lipsticks in Sugar & Rose
→ High Shine Lip Gloss in Goldern Pearl

The palette consisting of 6 eyeshadow colors:
→ Cafe au Lait- Highlighter (matte)
→ Lilac
→ Warm pink
→ Brown (matte)
→ Plumsmoke
→ Smokey Brown

Did some swatches (sorry not pictures due to swatching on hand that I cant take photos with) and I would say that these eyeshadow are quite good. The darker colors were definitely pigmented along with the highlighter, and the usual lilacs and pinks are hardly visible. They only thing that concerned me were the shimmer in the shimmer colored ones, it was just too much even for a holiday collection. I don't know, I don't think you need that much shimmer for a day time look- and even if its shimmer, NOT THAT MUCH AT LEAST. Its almost like the trio shimmer powder, the shimmer rubs and falls. But the eyeshadow colors stays. In terms of the combination of colors, It's an alright combination which can compliment each other and compliment all eye colors I would say.
Overall rating out of 5 for day palette eyeshadows - I'd give it a 3.5 / 5.

The palette also contains a blush on the right in "Sunblush".
Once again shimmer because holiday season and look, great subtle color in my opinion. Didn't look heavy, added a nice subtle color to the face and added some shine but not as much as the other shimmer powders. The blush is definitely buildable which is great, it is somewhat pigmented so a little does go a long way, but the color is definitely buildable.
Overall rating would be 4.5 / 5.

Two lip colors in the day bundle are in Sugar(right) and Rose(left). Swatched these and they are really nice in my opinion. The consistency and texture is great and moisturising and didn't feel sticky. It is however transferable and will require often reapplication. The colors are great and subtle which is perfect for the day, nothing loud. Never judge a lipsticks color from its bullet as they all say, the color "Sugar" which looked really brown was a nice golten tan color with hints of pink in it which was great. Mom loved these two lipsticks. Overall rating would be 3.5 / 5.

I tried the gloss in the day bundle which was in the color "goldern pearl". A nice somwhat nude color which did compliment these two lipstick colors, but also did compliment the night bundle as well. Only thing I really didn't really like about the gloss was the consistency, was super sticky which when opening the mouth, had this weird sticky sensation like honey. Overall rating would be 4 / 5.

Night bundle

According to the packaging, the products in the night bundle:
→ Eyeshadow&Blush palette
→ Pencil Eyeliner in Smokey Black
→ Pencil Lipliner in Crimson
→ Two lipsticks in Brick & Ruby Rose
→ High Shine Lip Gloss in Rosegold

The palette consisting of 6 eyeshadow colors:
→ Soft Gold
→ Romance
→ Bronze Lustre
→ Classic Khaki Contour
→ Black Tie Contour
→ Misty Teal Contour

This set of eyeshadows were all shimmer, which was great for a holiday night look and getting the glam on. The shimmer in this palette was more subtle and didn't have much shimmer fallouts. All colors were quite pigmented and very buildable. Combination wise, thought the khaki color was quite strange and stood out the most but then I can see it working with the Bronze Lustre or Romance color. Did not have any fall out problems when picking up the eyeshadows. I think in terms of the quality of the eyeshadow, it seems this palette is somewhat better than the day palette. Strange since all palettes would be the same but could be the process of making. I don't know. Overall rating - 4 / 5

Blush that came in the palette was in the color "Golden Apple" (such a nice name). Coral color with gold shimmer pigments which was beautiful when applied (especially on my mom who has a more pale complexion). Added a super nice color to the face which warmed up the face especially with the gold shimmer pigments. The blush seemed to be more pigmented and stronger and therefore the build-ability of the blush isn't like the day palette. Overall rating would be 4.5 / 5 as alot is picked up which if applied directly to the face without blotting or tapping off, can be quite strong.

Last but not least, the testing the two lipstick colors in the night bundle in Brick(right) and Ruby Rose(left). Both of these colors was more on the rouge red side and beautiful, especially Ruby Rose which has a more crimson pink hint to it. Same consistency with the day bundle. Overall rating would be 4 / 5.

The high shine gloss in "Rosegold" was also tested on these lip colors and I would say that it does compliment it except in a different manner as the color of the gloss is quite different to the lip stick colors. The gloss is more on the pinky-berry color side and contains gold pigments which was really nice but did give it a different color when over the lip colors. I'd probably say that it compliments the lipstick color in "Ruby Rose" much better than brick for sure. Overall, same consistency and stickiness- rating is still 4 / 5.

And that concludes this super long first review. I'll try make it more simpler next time, but I hope you can enjoy it even though I got lazy towards the end because its 5.10am ahaha.
So sorry for the super long post, until then- happy 1st of february, stay well, take care and good night! ^_^
