BUSY BUSY BUSYYYYYY T_T

YO! How's it going everyone?

I'm so sorry I failed the promise to deliver constant updates orz

Lets try this again :)

Actually the main reason is I have no idea what to blog about since nowadays I'm just mainly at home helping my parents with their work.

BUT! I have been doing some photoshoots and makeup :D

Just to recap, all the photos for the "Kuroko no Basuke - Kagami x Kise " yaoi service shoot are all uploaded and can be viewed via Pandographi's Facebook Page (https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.439330139508424.1073741842.367203826721056&type=3) OR for high quality, please view them at his blog (http://pandographi.wordpress.com/2013/06/25/%E3%80%9025-o6-2o13%E3%80%91kuroko-no-basket-kise-x-kagami/)

Thanks heaps to Dat (https://www.facebook.com/EnteiCos) for being Kagami
Thanks to Pandori (http://www.facebook.com/Pandographi) for  being amazing photographer
Special thanks to 1YE (https://www.facebook.com/Kagami1ye) and Juju (https://www.facebook.com/JycStudios) for helping out with the shoot!
Was a super fun experience and also a super fun photoshoot with many awkward struggles but yeah, happy with how the photos turned out. And actually after this shoot, I feel more confident about myself and feel like I can now do daring things like other cosplayers do which is so great. Also the fact that I revealed alot of skin to the public, now makes me less conscious about myself.
Once again super thanks to people mentioned above, please do follow and like their pages for their amazing work!

While Dat was here in Sydney (since he's originally from Melbourne), also got the opportunity to attend a shoot with the same wonderful amazing people + some other beautiful people as well. They were shooting "Psycho-Pass - Kougami X Makishima" featuring two sexy ikemen Dat (https://www.facebook.com/EnteiCos) & Alan (http://zfx-design.deviantart.com).

Also shooting Asuna from "Sword Art Online" featuring Nona (https://www.facebook.com/NonaFlubba .

Also did a casual "Kuroko no Basuke" photoshoot featuring Dat and 1YE which honestly we had no idea what to do since the weather was pretty bad but eventually cleared up. And really was to dunk. Was a fun shoot overall with many derpings but yeah, don't think there would be much photos to process since we had no idea what was going on which these things happen because hard to capture the mood etc especially since it's casual. But nonethless was good fun :)

Dat as Aomine Daiki
DANNY. (me) as Ryouta Kise

I think I'll end this going-no-where post since having a major mind-block at the moment.
Sorry for the post being all over the place, typing this at different times and day haha!

Anyway I will definitely make time to post now from now on. OMEGA PROMISE owo)b
Until then! Stay well & Take care!

SYDNEY SUPANOVA 2013 CONVENTION [DONE]

Hope you're all doing well!

Sydney Supanova convention 2013 has finally passed by and I have to say it has got to be one of the most enjoyable SydNova I've been despite the crappiest weather. I think because I cosplayed characters that people knew and also got to hung out with such amazing people and friends.

For me, I don't really check the stores because I don't really buy anything- it's more of hanging out with people and cosplaying and hopefully be able to get pictures. Unfortunately I wasn't able to hold onto my camera and my phone is just too laggy (I now use an Iphone 3GS since I lost my other phone) so I wasn't able to capture any pictures.

Sydney Supanova 2013 was a 3-day event from Friday 21st June 2013 to Sunday 23rd June 2013. Here's a video that a friend of mine recorded and made which sums up Saturday and Sunday of the convention which also features me:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bwjDrsZ05QQ (will add the video player once blogger recognises it on youtube)

Please do like the video and subscribe him for more awesome videos. Also please like his facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/SFVproduction

I was really busy on Friday working and finishing on my friends and my cosplay for Saturday so I didn't end up going to it. But I saw some pictures from fellow photographers and cosplayers and they look amazing.

On Saturday 22nd June 2013, I cosplayed as Blood Moon Akali from the Free online game League Of Legends.

Photography by Pandographi
I cosplayed with a group of friends and amazing people who were also doing LoL [League of Legends] and it was just so fun. Surprisingly there were also many other LoL cosplayers that we didn't know and also surprisingly ALOT of people knew the cosplays which was really amazing. Our group was actually larger but due to the timing of the convention and also many of our friends have their final exams, they weren't able to make their costume and props on time. Also some members of the group got lost haha! BUT I'm sure the photoshoot organised sometime end of the year for the group will be amazing.

Photography by Pireze
Had some annoying encounters with the costume as it was slowly falling apart such as the mask on my head and my props and my wig especially when we haven't even gone on stage but luckily my friend Tim (as garen) had masking tape which saved the day.

We entered the cosplay competition as the LoL Orgy (no idea who came up with the name LOL) and surprisingly we won as the best cosplay group. The comp kinda trolled us while we were on stage and screened the Dota 2 logo.. them plays.. haha! Unfortunately the prize for the WHOLE GROUP consisting of 9+ people was only ONE certificate. Our friends tried to ask for more since it's just a piece of paper with no specific name but they refused so we were left with just one for our group leader Tim. Which was alright but the thought of giving just one and refuse to give more when it's a piece of paper with no specific name or anything is abit.. yeahhh. Oh well.

Overall Saturday was really fun and worth the pain in heels and even with the bad rainy weather. Was just amazing being able to see friends and meet new people and hang out. Also being able to be recognised and get photo taken and having shoots.

Friends Kee on the left and Chey on the r ight. Was great seeing you two! <3 Photo by Kee
Sunday was really laxed since it's the second day of the convention and we were all tired from Saturday so we left the house at 12.30-1pm and got ther around 1.30-2pm. I also went out to my local area in my cosplay to buy some cakes for friends to share around. The weather was still bad but wasn't as bad until the afternoon. I cosplayed as Togashi Yuuta from the anime/manga Chuunibyou demo koi ga shitai.

Photography by Kee
To be honest I had no idea what to cosplay for Sunday and especially this convention was more western-based, literally no idea. At first I planned to cosplay Yukina Kou from the Boy's Love Anime/Manga Sekaiichi Hatsukoi but alot of things came to my mind which made me hesitate to cosplay such as being at a western-based convention, the weather and my wig color. After browsing on Facebook a while I saw my friend's preview of what she was doing which was Takanashi Rikka from the Anime/Manga Chuunibyou demo koi ga shitai which I was suppose to cosplay with them but I forgot about it and her preview looked really good. So I thought to myself maybe I should revert and cosplay with them. Before doing so I had to look through my cosplay costumes to see if there were any blazers I could modify and so I had one, my Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu blazer. Got some satin ribbon out and doublesided tape and tried covering and replacing the trims. After successfully covering and taping the trims, It was official and decided that I will be doing Togashi Yuuta. Took out my red tie and start sewing the ribbon stripes and borrowed my friend's vest. Also I had the wig already from a previous testing which was great. So that's really the story to how I ended up with this cosplay. I know right, cool story bro but I'm really happy with it :D.

Rocked up with our mini group :D

I always have so much fun with these two. They're literally chuunibyou's LOL! We did see another small group of cosplayers who also did Chuunibyou demo koi ga shitai but instead of a Yuuta they had a Nibutani which was really awesome and we were able to get a photo with them towards the end of the convention.

Sunday was mainly just hanging out with everyone and doing photoshoot with our friend photographers and yeah. Saw many amazing cosplays and also saw more League of Legends cosplay which was sooo cool!  Mainly hung indoors since the rain was really heavy and also they didn't let us hang out in the foyer which was annoying so yeah. Overall very laxed day :)

Bunch of us taking pics with a 3DS because normal camera's are too mainstream ;) Photography by Aoki

And that sums up for the convention weekend.
To finish off the post, here's a preview of a service photoshoot I had with the awesome Dat of Kise x Kagami  from Anime/Manga Kuroko no Basuke ;)

Stay updated to Pandori's blog for more updates of the service shoot. :) It's quite something that's for sure ;D

Until then, stay well & take care!

Photoshoot : Kurobasu - Kuroko x Kise x Aomine

Yo! How's it going?
Hope you're all doing well!

On 16th March 2013, I had a Kuroko no Basuke casual photoshoot with cosplayer Rin-san as Kise, cosplayer Cheroppi as Kuroko, and photographer Marupan. We shot in the city towards central station in Sydney at a park. Originally we wanted to use the basketball courts but it was really crowded so while already being at the park, we made use of what we could and yeah the photoshoot was successful.

The photos have been released onto Marupan's facebook page and can be viewed at : http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.299799263485522.1073741830.177524032379713&type=1

Really like how the photos turned out despite not being able to use the basketball courts but yeah~ really amazing. Big credits to our photographer Marupan for the photography and edits. Also big thanks to cosplayer Cheroppi and Rin-san for their amazing cosplays.

Here are some of the photos :

Photoshoot : Kurobasu - Aomine x Momoi

Yo everyone! Hope you're all doing well!

Last week on Wednesday the 20th of February 2013, I had a photoshoot for the anime/manga "Kuroko no Basuke" where I cosplayed as Aomine Daiki and my friend and fellow Sydney cosplayer Tina (fudafucos@facebook) cosplayed as Satsuki Momoi and we shot with my two favorite photographers Pandori-san and Fishy-san.

(ALL DA CHINS FROM ME)
Woke up at 7.30am and ran around the house to get ready and prepare my cosplay to leave the house at 9am. Got to the station at 9.15am in my cosplay and boy, all the staring for the super-tanned blue hair guy in school uniform LOLOL! But I don't mind it since I just block out everything with music and whenever I'm in cosplay mode I just flaunt my stuff ;)
So this is how I looked like (ignore the derp face, it's all I do really ahaha!):

I met up with the photographers at 10.30am and we started shooting since our Momoi was coming later as she had a university orientation to attend. We shot at Australian Technology Park at Redfern in Sydney which was the same location we shot the other Kurobasu shoot with Kagami x Kise. So much fun because it was so hot and we were just camping for shades and doing as many shots as we could. But we eventually managed and I think we got quite a good number of shots :D AND FISH EVENTUALLY FOUND OUT HOW TO TURN ON LIVE-VIEW ON NIKON D800 TROLOLOL

Met up with Tina at around 12.30pm and we shot all together till 1.30-2pm. We ran out of ideas how to compose and take the pictures so we ended earlier than expected I think. Also forgot our basketball so couldn't certain poses BUT so many laughters about photoshopping a ball in random places ahaha!

Anywhere here are some random shots I took at the shoot:

Me as Aomine and Tina as Momoi

Aomine having his selfy moment while Momoi is having her solo shot.

おつかれさまでしたぁ~

Yesterday Pandori-san released a preview pic from the shoot and this is how it turned out:

Superrr happy with how it turned out! Super thanks to Pandori-san for the shot!
I super look forward to the photos released from both photographers!

Casual Kurobasu - Kagami x Kise - shoot

Hope you're all doing well!

Going to be making a couple of posts based on different topics so I apologise for the spam in posts ahaha!

Wanted to blog last night but decided to sleep because I had a photoshoot today with the TAN twins for casual kurobasu shoot which was super fun :)

So in this post, just gonna blog about photoshoot today. As I mentioned above that I had a photoshoot for anime/manga "Kuroko no Basuke" the casual version because we all didn't have the same uniforms or the uniforms/outfits so decided to keep it laid back and go with the casual form. I cosplayed Kise Ryota and my friend (Wayne-san) cosplayed as Kagami Taiga and Pandori-san was our photographer. ALL MAN SHOOT HURRHURRHURR ahaha!

The weather was approximately 27 degrees Celsius and it was a super nice day (despite the heat) luckily with no rain (as the weather forecast said) which was great. My makeup was melting from the heat but it was okay- PANDORI-SAN'S PHOTOGRAPHY WILL HIDE ALL FLAWS ;D

Got up at 6.30am with only 3 hours of sleep due to late night gaming and preparation for the cosplay, and left the house at 8.30am.

Within those two hours- I managed to get Kise's cross necklace made using plastic boards, jewellery cords, hot glue and acryllic paint. Was actually super happy how it turned out especially with the worn out brush I used to paint the cross to give it a streaky texture.

Back onto the day, only had the makeup and outfit on with no wig because it was just too hot and just to save people staring me intensely early in the morning =v=); But this was how I looked, taken on the train going to destination.

My goodness the train was the worst as expected of CityRail. I hopped on the train that was super stuffy and the windows couldn't be opened, nor is the air con even on. But in the end it was all good because I fell asleep for most of the train ride haha!

Met up with Wayne-san and Pandori-san at the station and we started walking to our destination which was a basketball court. Got our cosplay all ready with wig and accessories etc once we got there and started shooting. I'm actually still annoyed with myself because I forgot to put on Kise's piercing which I STAYED UP LAST NIGHT MAKING ;A; but simple things like that can be photoshopped.

ANYWAY, every time I cosplay from Kurobasu (Kuroko no Basuke) I face these two issues-
→ I don't play sports
→ I don't really follow Kurobasu no more ;3;

But the first issue is usually the main problem because I LOOK SO AWKWARD TRYING TO BE ATHLETIC AND SHOOTING HOOPS ETC. HAHAHA! I'm someone where people classify me as "you throw like a girl" .___.;

Back on track, we roamed quite abit and rested well in between from the heat and yeah, was super fun doing so many "homo" shots and some funny shots along with serious ones, was all good. It was also Wayne-san's first shoot and I thought he did super well :)

Here are some pics I took throughout the shoot:

Got changed out of our wigs at around 2.50-3pm and started heading back to the station to go home :) おつかれさまでしたぁあぁ~

Super thanks to Wayne-san and Pandori-san for the shoot and for the awesome day :D Hope to shoot with you guys more in the future!

Here are some photos I took today with my camera, not the best since I didn't know how to compose the photos (so sorry for it being overexposed with terrible composition .__.):

Slept on the train once I got on my train ahaha! Just so tired from the heat and lack of sleep, got home- showered and slept more! LOLOL! And now I'm super awake, sleeping pattern fully ruined, and I have another photoshoot tomorrow too!

I look forward to tomorrow's shoot as well with Grace-san, doing a casual fashion shoot just roaming around in the city :)

Here are some pics of the outfit I might wear for tomorrow, basing the theme around ulzzang or just korean/japanese fashion.

First look : Blonde wig, red rocker-styled vest, black dress shirt, schoolboy shorts, black meggings and boots. I really like this outfit but it's just too hot to be wearing it in 29 degrees Celcius weather .__.;

Second look: Black mesh cabby hat, lenseless leopard framed wayfarer glasses, white dress shirt with black dots, beige patterned bowtie, irregular vest, camel/beige pants and camel shoes.

That's it for this post, so sorry for side tracking so much making the post quite confusing. I'll try to not do that again. >_<;

Until then, stay well & take care!
